The ASSCR is thrilled to enter into an agreement with the Korean Society for Stem Cell Research (KSSCR), with the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on August 20, 2025 in Seoul, Korea signed by Lincon Stamp (President – ASSCR) and Yun Sil Chang (President – KSSCR). This MOU will strengthen international collaboration in stem cell science and regenerative medicine.
Through this MOU, KSSCR and ASSCR will work together to:
– Advance joint research, clinical applications, and industrialisation in regenerative medicine and cell and gene therapies.
– Facilitate knowledge exchange on science, regulation, and policy.
– Support researcher mobility and engagement across Korea and Australasia.
– Enhance public awareness and trust in stem cell and regenerative medicine.
This milestone reflects the shared commitment of both societies to scientific excellence, responsible translation, and global partnership for the benefit of patients worldwide.
