The ASSCR Professional Development and Junior Investigators Subcommittee, referred to more commonly as, the EMCR Subcommittee, spearheads several events and series designed to support the ASSCR’s ever-growing EMCR membership. We are grateful to the Early-to-Mid Career Researchers from across Australia who generously devoted their time to help organise local symposia for their peers, draft proposals, secure sponsorships, assist with ASSCR communications, and chair sessions for our annual meeting each year.
Their efforts continue to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for young scientists to connect, communicate, and collaborate. Moreover, their initiatives synergise with the ASSCR Meeting by enhancing membership engagement year-round, promoting registration, and strengthening relationships with our sponsors.
